I love the debut. Sure, it's a little lightweight [due to the crappy production], but if you scratch that surface then you're into another world entirely.

That's what I adore about those first 3 Enuff.. albums. If you're not prepared to invest the time and thought needed then they are lightweight and throwaway. But the band had/have this steely dark side that is always there, if you care to look hard enough. There's so much going on beneath the lip gloss and big hair. Lyrically they are supercharged.

Plus - even after al these years, New Thing still gives me shivers. Amazing band.
