I agree that the British media need to share the blame here but the radio station and DJs should be held accountable too. Whatever their intent, playing practical jokes on people u do not know is irresponsible and cruel. U have no idea how they will react. To do it in the name of entertainment is just plain wrong. Whether the woman had underlying issues or not is completely irrelevant.

Furthermore, regardless of whether protocols were in place or not, the call was probably unlawful with regard to the potential security breach. It is not the first time this radio station has been questioned for its behaviour. In my opinion the station should lose its broadcasting license devastating the Chav population of NSW in the process. Let's face it only an utter dickhead would have found the prank funny anyway.
