Sadly though, not many of the old bands are anything more than cover bands these days.
The new Giant album wasn't bad at all.
I think Terry has spread himself a bit too thin as he's in so many bands and projects these days, so would've preferred a different singer who was more like Dann Huff (I still stand by Johnny Edwards, although I know he retired), but I still enjoyed Promise Land.
But with Terry being in every band known to man and with John Roth in Starship, and the other guys having little interest in doing anything beside their session work in Nashville, I think the resurrected Giant was just a one-off experiment :-(
However, i'd love to see them, with whatever line-up playing the classics.
