I agree with both viewpoints.

It's raining, Jon is older, he lets the crowd do way too much of the singing, doesn't move, etc.

But like someone else said, you can't epect everyone to react the same way - some people can keep it up, others can't. And that's ok.

That said, there's more to Springsteen than meets the eye. The man has more soul than Jovi, more of a true passion for his audience and his music, whereas Bon Jovi is a more corporate kind of rock, though still heartfelt in some measure. That 'vibe'is what elevates Springsteen into legendary status, and robably what keeps him crowd-surfing well into his 60s.
