Re: Rodwell, Lescott and Arteta.

Rodwell has the potential, but you can't keep him fit. He is/was a shrewd bit of business if he is a 'never miss a game' type. But injury prone, as he is, then he is a very long shot.
Lescott was a good player. Stayed fit and was very solid and consistent - until he was swayed by the money and lost sight of what got him there. Nowadays he's a shadow of the player he could and should be, which is a crying shame.
Arteta? Same as Lescott. Went for the pot of gold and lost focus. Great playmaker at Everton but just an also ran at Arsenal. Another shame as he is a world class player on his day.
The fact is, Dave knows good business when he sees it.....and also knows when a player is losing his touch. He is a VERY smart and intuitive manager. Plus the moral of the story here, for me at least, is it's better to be a bigger fish in a slightly smaller pond.
Moysey really deserves a shot with a mega budget. I just hope he stays at Everton until that happens. Surely an investor HAS to recognise what he could achieve???
