I love all of the previous Hinder albums, and to my ears, the only songs that have anything remotely in common with the TITTL style is 'Ladies Come First,' and possibly 'See You In Hell.' The other heavier songs are just a continuation of the AAN style, which I love. Of the remaining songs, 'Is It Just Me' is almost something Maroon 5 might do. I don't dislike that song, but it really doesn't sound like Hinder as we know them. As for the five ballads, only 'Shoulda Known Better' and 'I Don't Wanna Believe' are up to the standard I expect from Hinder. Initially, the heavier songs sounded like songs that weren't quite good enough for the last album, but after repeated listens I really got into them, the same applies to 'Shouda Known Better' I wasn't that fond of it at first, but now it's one of my favourites. They have just tried things a little different this time around, and I have no problem with that, but the results are mixed, with the band losing a little of their identity.
