I went to see Testament in Manchester last night. What a fantastic gig. Couple of sound issues in the first two songs, but they soon got in to their stride. What a powerful live band and the stand in drummer did an amazing job. Chuck Billy looked like he was having the time of his life and his voice was strong. Alex Skolnick was amazing and Eric Peterson truly would give James Hetfield a run for his money on the fastest right hand in the business. I hope they don’t leave it too long before they come back again!

I did think the two support bands were dreadful though. Every song just mashed in to the next. Just sounded like generic shouty metal to me. Be nice to see someone like Revoker supporting them next time!
