Couldn't agree more with you Woody, it was the best I've seen them too and I must be in double figures now. The set, the mix, the joking around onstage. Tim had said they were choosing a different set list to Firefest and now that the new album is getting about, more people would be comfortable with the new songs they included, especially with Sue on such form. It was also brilliant watching drummer Andy Perfect forced to play side on to the crowd, due to Electric Boys kit and a shallow stage - he's a bloody excellent showman on them there drums. I won't be at HRH, but they will go down very well on this form.
Must also give Liberty Lies a big shout - the openers have recently toured with Shinedown and are as tight as a gnat's chuff. Youngsters still to write their best stand out sing-a-long, they can certainly play and put on a show.
Electric Boys were the ultimate groove machine. Laid back riffs, some stunning leads and its awesome when a band plays around with the dynamics like this, taking the audience along with them.
A real mix of 3 rock styles on the night, but all really excellent and somehow complimented each other so well.
