I strongly dislike Bowie as a musician (and painter). His music doesn't move me at all. His voice makes me cringe at best.

This said, I am not disputing his place in history. He moved a lot of people, had success and invented a style. No discussion there. I just don't like what he did. Simple matter of taste :-)
