Don't understand you saying Bowie, isn't much better. The guy is brilliant. So much character and range to his voice and a master of vocal melodies. Obviously, he's not AOR but he deserves his place in rock history as one of the most influential artists of all time.
Check out Moonage Daydream, Five Years, Drive In Saturday, Big Brother and Stay for some awesome vocals.
