buy an external hard drive, not just for this but to back up important information into the future. just copy and paste (never cut and paste and never just drag and drop) the stuff you want to keep onto the drive and copy and paste it back to your new machine and hey presto you have not only the stuff you want on the new machine but an archive.
lotus smart suite doesn't come with powerpoint due to it being an IBM product and Powerpoint being a Microsoft product.

Word of advice BUY anti virus (not norton), don't get a freebie cos they suck. You can pick a great one up for $30 a year.
