I met David Coverdale on the Def Leppard/Whitesnake/Thunder tour back in 2008. He came into the Thunder dressing room, said hello to everyone, asked if I was "the new boy in the band" while shaking my hand. When I explained that I was just Thunder's web guy he said "Well, why am I shaking your hand then?".

Of course he was only joking and we all laughed it off...

or was he....

He then asked if he could move my jacket from the bench and plonked himself down next to me for 5 mins, while he caught up with the guys...and that was it. It was very bizarre to be sitting right next to Mr. Coverdale himself...

And that was it. We didn't see him for the rest of the tour. mind you it was only 3 dates I think...

Looking forward to meeting him again on the Journey/Whitesnake/Thunder tour....
