Probie,

Being a personal friend of Neil's I can tell you that your take on his leaving WS is not correct. BS may have paid better but that is not the reason he joined them. Furthermore, he "left" WS in 1986 and only started playing with BS when the tour for "Headless Cross" started in late 1989.
