Wow i totally disagree. It's an awesome cd! I couldn't stand Kid Rock when all he did was rap.

Now he's reinvented himself as a modern combination Bob Seger/John Mellencamp. I for one like it. This new cd is midwestern rock at it's finest. The first song on the new cd is terrible, but once you past that it's an awesome cd. I can't believe you don't like Let's Ride, Rebel Soul, Celebrate, Mr. Rock and Roll, Detroit Michigan,God save Rock and Roll. These are all classic rock songs. There is also potential for a country cross over song with Redneck Paradise or Happy New Year. The lyrics to his new songs at least have meaning.

The lead single Let's Ride is for the American soldiers and has the classic line "Grap you guns get ready to roll like your uncle JD done years before, no pussy no dope this ain't Siagon keep your eyes open for road side bombs"

I watched a show on Pallidia about Kid Rock and he stated he's down with the heavy metal rap crap. (his words) So basically if you are expecting Kid Rock to return to the bullshit he used to do you are going to be terribly disappointed. If you're like me and love midwestern American rock then you're in for a treat. His last 3 cds are great.
