Hardcore fans will easily sell out a pyro or H&d show if it was one show, but 9...maybe not. It's pretty obvious that Hysteria would be a much bigger draw for the masses or for a casual fan.

Just like GnR doing Appetite this month. Yeah a Use You Illusion set would still sell tickets but an Appetite appeals more to the average fan. 9 times out of 10 when bands have residencies they're going to go with their biggest selling albums.
