yeah but we're talking residencies in Vegas and tourists, not everyone walking down the strip knows what def leppard's typical setlist is.
If this was a one-off show, yeah, I see your point, but when certain bands are doing 9-20 days in a row, you want what will draw more people in. Hardcore fans will easily sell out a pyro or H&d show if it was one show, but 9...maybe not. It's pretty obvious that Hysteria would be a much bigger draw for the masses or for a casual fan.
Just like GnR doing Appetite this month. Yeah a Use You Illusion set would still sell tickets but an Appetite appeals more to the average fan. 9 times out of 10 when bands have residencies they're going to go with their biggest selling albums.
