I'm really hard to please when it comes to what I consider traditional aor/melodic rock having found so much more to enjoy in recent years in the metal/modern rock genres. I like odd songs, enjoy odd albums and still buy loads of it despite knowing better.

However, I thought the first Vega album had around 5/6 songs that were exceptional and were the absolute best that this type of music has to offer in this day and age.

I'm really looking forward to this release - probably more than I should be - but I have high hopes this will be another top draw release.

Also looking forward to the new Shakra (mentioned elsewhere on here) who are very different (crunchy Gotthard-esqe rock) but can't think of much else in the mainstream rock genre I can't wait to hear.

Hope others give the Vega a few listens and a bit of time as I think it has the potential to gain a bit of momentum if everyone gets behind it.
