Its funny how time changes things.

Back way back when I first heard Maiden I loved them because they did sound aggressive and almost 'punky'.

I had Killers on in the car the other day and my opinion is totaly different now. I now appreciate how 'clever' the band were technically (especially for a relatively young band) and the songs were wonderfully crafted. I never really rated Paul as a singer but listening to those early albums again I can see why he still feels aggrieved and overlooked. His contributin to the Maiden 'sound' which is still evident was massive and he should get some credit for that.

He does himself no favours though with his 'silly' antics.
