I really like Anastacia's voice and am a huge fan of the rockier stuff she's done previously. I still regularly play the original songs from the compilation Pieces Of A Dream... but having heard the samples from this album, I have to say I am disappointed. Her voice is fine but the mix simply does not do the songs justice. This is ROCK, pure and simple. And they don't.

The Issa covers album on the other hand... while the guitar could still be up in the mix a bit, this is a great album. Most of the songs are new to me anyway but I am enjoying this a lot.
