His statement should have read like this.

"I'm a colossal dickhead, and my antics over the last 30 years have made me a pariah within the music industry. Everyone from musicians to producers to label owners know that I'm a narcissistic drama queen and won't touch me with a ten foot pole, so I have decided to let go of my delusions of grandeur and return to my previous career as a rent boy.
