A real "fan" would not be looking at this as being asked to "bend over". They would probably appreciate an updated version, with the extras. Additionally, there is really very little NEW here. The Guitar Center Sessions show aired about a thousand times, over the last few months, as did his concert video. This is geared toward the 'gotta have it' fan, not someone who will bitch and moan about it.

Slash owns his label. He is distributed by EMI but make no mistake, he has final say on what gets released under his name.
