.after two weeks, hmmmm. Its a good record, there are some good songs on it, but some so-so's where Martensson has tried to hard to cop what Peterick/Survivor did. Street Survivors for example...
The audio mix in places is lacking punch, the drums seems almost timid. In places its squeezed/compressed to death. Toby's record has the same issue in places.
For me, there's about 6-7 really good songs on it, so i'll give it a 7.5/10 (75%) which by most scoring standards equals a good score. Is it a 100% absolute stunning classic to rank amongst the finest in the genre..no.
I can't help but feel..and this has happened before with FRONTIERS "projects"..whilst they deliver some good songs, the "team" behind these records is making everything sound the same. Sure..the voice obviously stamps the greatest identity, but overall, things are starting to blur again and its getting very production-line like,
