Being a HUGE INXS fan for the last 20+ years, this news isn't really surprising to me. I totally understand why the band wanted to continue once they finally got over the loss of Michael's death, i mean, what else were they supposed to do? Having said that, they totally lost their credibility once they decided to continue, especially after the ROCKSTAR drama with JD FORTUNE. Jon Stevens had a few good years with INXS and they were kicking ass live (i seen them twice with him), but that ended bad and the ROCKSTAR show was just cheese, although JD FORTUNE was a good singer and showman and the band even seemed to re-gain some success in some parts of the world again. A few years later and JD is out and some boring guy called CIARAN GRIBBIN is announced as the new singer. Its plain obvious that HUTCHENCE (to an extent) WAS INXS and the band will never get over that. HUTCHENCE was a great singer and showman and is totally irreplacable! Defo one of the all time great Australian bands and at one point, even as big as U2 worldwide. Sad how times change. Music is timeless though. I think i'll go and listen to THE SWING! Peace.
