I also agree with everything said in this thread, except that I haven't given up on him reaching his true potential (yet). :-)
Him leaving Masterplan doesn't bother me for one second actually, because that leaves room for him doing other things and perhaps he could get it 100% right sometime soon.
Tme To Be A King was a monster of a letdown and I haven't listened to it once since I first put it away.
Spirit Black was a step in the right direction, agreed, and I think Bring Heavy Rock has the obligatory 2-3 excellent songs....even if everything is sounding way too similar on the latest albums.
He needs to go in a more melodic direction, no doubt.
