The Kevin Costner in Tin Cup approach is a path paved with disaster !
Every day on here, the lack of audiences at gigs and sales of CD'S is discussed and you still want to go ahead with this ?
Firefest have got it all sewn up really. A venue that's easily accessible (even if it isn't the nicest place in the world), a loyal fan base that will now turn up pretty much regardless of the bill (an attribute it shares with Glastonbury, people KNOW that the bill will have at least a few acts that appeal to them over the weekend) and a team of people that have been running it for years now, so it's a well oiled event. Most importantly they appear to know their limitations, they're not gong to suddenly try and place the show in an Arena that holds 10,000 people on the North Coast of Scotland, which would result in an audience of Coco and 9999 imaginary friends !
Bearing all that in mind, if you do decide to go ahead, then good luck, because I think you'll need it !
