Survivor was more about Peterik's songwiting and Bickler's/Jamison's vocals than Frankie being there. Sure--he was a great player with excellent skills/tone for their brand of melrock. But fans would NOT be asking--Where's Frankie? If Jim & Jimi were there onstage--it's pretty much Survivor. Back when,JP must have wanted to let the band go & get on with things. But now? He's back on board with JJ. There is no reason we shouldn't/couldn't see a reborn Survivor with the rightful players on board. It's never quite been said, but I'm getting that Peterik wants nothing to do with Sullivan anymore. He's just too nice a guy to pinpoint any specific reasons. But I'd bet he'd LOVE to put Survivor back out there on the tour trail. Reminds me of all those years that John Fogerty was kept from playing his own Creedance songs. Nonsense and legal mumbo jumbo while the music/fans suffer. Pity..T
