No..he is there to support and preserve their legacy, at least do it right by releasing good product. But he's not willing to play the game and ruin it with whole full on reunion. No..he doesn't need the money, hence he can take this stance. Besides, after years of doing the whole arena rock god thing, he equally content to rock up to some pub, and do a blues set with mates. Good on him for having some back bone and stance true to his true feelings.
