Yup totally agree - with 32" screen or less - unless you are sitting really close, in an average sized living room there is not that big a noticeable difference between SD and HD. Got a blu-ray but to be honest - for the difference there is, id rather take the price saving on a dvd for most things.

Saying that - i have blu-rays of the 'more visual' films like Tim Burton movies, Moulin Rouge etc.
