Listened to it once.....suitably impressed but it's missing the usual one or two killers.
A nice mix of 70's vibe and 80's sound and Gene's songs are nowhere near as far off the pace as usual. In fact they're much better than usual and we're missing a big one from Paul.
Take ME Down Below (Gene and Paul) is possibly my favourite for now but that could change.
A few of the songs , if released back in the day , would probably be considered classics but now these sort of basic songs (I'm thinking something like Back To The Stone Age is like a modern 2000 Man) ....it's not quite so impressive.
Serviceable effort and much better than most others their age who've given it a try. Given KISS's catalogue there'd be nothing easier than just sitting back and touring , so I admire them for keeping the new music coming at a good standard.
