I'm not familiar with the track you speak of, however in a similar vein...

When The Offspring offered their new single Days Go By to TripleM (my local radio station) a couple of months back to preview, I thought to myself that's a direct ripoff of The Foo's "Times Like These" and I hope they chucked Dave some cash. And while not the same lyrically it does carry a similar theme.

I've always had a soft spot for The Offspring but that was it for me in terms of paying any serious attention.
