I hear what you say Ken, but I think the point is that it sounds a LOT like recent Queensryche albums.

In fact I think this album says more about the last decade or so of Queensryche than it does of itself.
(i.e. Queensryche / Geoff Solo - effectively one of the same)

Without bashing the same drum over and over, I think the current setup of the band / Geoff is exactly how things should be.

Queensryche can go back to hard edged metal/rock and Geoff can continue with his own flavour of music which a) Queensryche has absorbed for over a decade and b) This Solo album is all about.
