I see nothing wrong with having an opinion to the contrary. Not everyone is going to like the same thing--fortunately. Also, some things that are very important to some listeners (like lyrics) don't matter at all for others. That in itself can change perceptions of a cd drastically. Just speaking for myself, if the song leaves me cold lyrically, I don't care how good the melodies/vocals/performances are, it's just not going to rate that highly. Same thing with style. I don't mind blues (even like it sometimes if done well), but some hate that sound and will score accordingly.

We will never all agree, but as long as you can give rational views and explain WHY it doesn't work for you....as opposed to saying "this cd sucks and Andrew can jump off a cliff holding onto his precious cd as a life preserver". There's no reason we can't have a healthy debate. It would be very boring here otherwise.
