Don't misunderstand me,Andrew. Unlike you,I aDORE the early Heart albums-more than the 80's stuff that lots of folks seem more akin to here. Their 'hair band' era had it's moments for me--mainly the mostly great 'Brigade' album. That along with the one damn good cd they released after it-'Desire Walks On'. After that, they seemed to want to strip everything back and make garagey grunge rock like they're waving some kind of 'Hey--we're from Seattle after all' flag. No solos,terrible guitar sound and mostly just plain bland songs. aS said...they've lost me,at least til they come back to being more melodic. T
