Wow! Wow! Wow! Best year of British sport in my lifetime and now we're up to about 25 candidates for Sports Personality of the Year that would win it hands down most other years.

My first loves are football and cricket (England have been useless at both 2012) but put together the historic Tour de France Bradley Wiggins triumph, euphoric Olympics, Andy Murray finally winning a Grand Slam plus Olympics gold and the Ryder Cup greatest comeback ever and this has been one heck of a great year!

Loved watching it last night and still can't quite believe Europe completed that miracle somehow. Awesome living sporting drama!
