I'm really enjoying it.
Although as other's have mentioned, for such a great singer, he uses alot of vocal effects.
I had one song (a ballad I think) playing in the background, and it sounded like Jon Bon Jovi singing the verse and Richie singing the chorus, but it's not... it's all Richie, his voice just sounds different on each track.
The first song sounds like some weird old blues song, but it's too buried in effects, goes on too long and is mis-placed... if it was stripped back and shortened and stuck on the end, it wouldn't seem half as bad... Perhaps!
But overall, it's diverse, well produced and deeply personal. Here's hoping he doesn't take another 14 years between solo albums!
