Firefest is very reasonably priced for what you get. I think people forget that FF is not run by professional promoters, but by music fans, and that every penny goes to making the show. You want tickets to be cheaper you'll get lower profile bands as the overall budget will be lower.

I think there is room for two such events and 6 months apart is ideal. I appreciate that not everyone can afford to attend both but I suspect many (at least from the UK) will. I suspect if you have to decide for only 1, then many factors will come into play besides the lineups, both events have become much more than festivals - loyalties and friendships etc..

I am a FF regular but am attending HRH for the first time this year, partly due to one of the FF organisers telling me how good HRH is.
