Thanks Wardy! I wrote all the music for "American Dream". The lyrics for "American Dream" were all Rick though. :) Lindsay Lohan's self-destruction was Rick's inspiration for the lyrics for that particular song.

"End of Days" is a song I wrote for my wife. I actually wrote another really fun pop rock song for her as well which was very Rick Springfield that I didn't finish in time for the CD. That one will have to wait for the next CD. Anyway, I wrote the lyrics for the chorus for "End of Days" when my wife and I were flying somewhere. The idea just popped into my head so I jotted it down. I ended up writing the rest of the lyrics a few months later in about an hour. Some songs are a struggle while others come more quickly. That song came in spurts both musically and lyrically but when the inspiration struck, all of the pieces came together perfectly. I'm glad you like the song. It's one of my favorites on the CD and I think it's one of the best I have ever written.
