Barry Windsor Smith! Yeah brilliant, he pretty much set the benchmark for Conan art/comics! I think Nord has been the best since and that's no disrespect to the many great artists in between ;)

I prefer Shinedown's first couple releases a little too ballad heavy now but no disputing the guy/s a talent, and no argument re Alter Bridge can't say enough about them! Heavy for me are the likes of Paradise Lost (great current album) and the likes of Nevermore / Warrel Dane to name the first to come to mind. Pretty broad rock tastes these days but still love me some dragon's when the mood is right and of course never a dull moment to be had when cranking Maiden Priest and all those top nuts, but still love me some good ole Ozzy rock (as in down under Cold Chisel Noiseworks Powderfinger and Choirboys baby) oh and hey love the new Cult and Lillian Axe (on a roll might quit now ;)

Suffice to say while I forgive you for the lyrical shenanigans of AMERICAN DREAM LOL (can't help but love me the tune regardless), rest assured END OF DAYS has well and truly nudged its way into this years top10 tunes fer these old ears! Well deserved too, tune farking thumps along something perfect lyrically cool just how modern MR should be I reckon ;)
