I don't know whether this is a new album, or whether it was recorded several years ago and only recently released.

To be honest, I did not recognize Mitch's voice. There is a strong pomp-rock touch to the music, not unsimilar to Departure's. Whilst the musicianship is not at fault, after a few spins only, I find the songs easily forgettable. Malloy's voice is borderline irritating and I find him a bit monotonous. Granted I am not a big fan of pomp-rock I still am left with a bit of a "could/should have been much better" feeling considering the quality of the musicians involved.
