Those four VAn Zant (Donnie & Johnny) cds have some great tunes on them. I always wished that Skynyrd would veer back more in that direction. Always thought that LS post Ronnie was always going for a harder edged sound. They cut back on that a bit with the newbie and it suits them much better. Not to mention,Johnny sounds great on the newbie. It amost reminds more of .38 Special in some ways. T
