It's weird, that in a day and age where musicians are very vocal about not needing labels, and going direct through their fans, and lots of artists saying they aren't releasing as much due to illegal downloads, an artist will still pull a stunt like this, which will actively encourage his fans to illegally download?
Very few people can afford to buy every collectors edition of an album, and i'm willing to bet even fewer are Rick Springfield fans.
I also think it sucks that he's just re-releasing tunes from previous "Special Editions" and songs already released on Sahara Snow.
So if it didn't seem like a massive con before, it really does now, as half the "exclusive bonus content" is already available to anyone who bought the Special Edition of S/D/A/A or Sahara Snow...
