I agree with Scott - you may as well buy and enjoy at this point.
The markets for signed and genuine memorabilia are now so full of counterfeits it's not funny and technology just makes it inevitable.
Surfing around Ebay last night I saw so many "vintage" t-shirts for sale at $300-$500 a pop I couldn't believe my eyes.....presumably people are paying these prices?? I just couldn't trust what I was getting and then all I would get (if it was genuine) is the satisfaction of knowing I got the genuine article and all the exact same knock offs out there are not. I certainly wouldn't expect to be able to on sell at anywhere near what I paid. There are even shirts bought in the carpark at gigs for sale at astronomical prices - admittedly some great designs but no real way of ensuring "authenticity" - an authentic knock off in the cark park LOL.
I have 2 of these shirts I bought in the 80's for maybe 15 bucks - check out the Buy It Now price

The whole PSA/DNA thing is a joke as many of those approved are obviously fake.
Bands like Van Halen are also adding to the problem ( "if you can't beat them , join them") by selling official retro tour t-shirts etc..... so the whole market is now skewed.
It's for that reason that , other than a couple I had signed in front of me , I have not added (since the 90's when most of the memorabilia out there was easier to verify) and have no intention of adding to my signed and genuine memorabilia collection, including tour shirts - other than a signed guitar I bought direct from the man himself.
So.......buyer beware , but if you're talking $10-$15 a shirt then you can't lose if the quality if okay.
