You do a great disservice to both Agger and Skrtel mate. Skrtel has been rightly voted the fans player of the season (that in itself is a worry, that a central defender wins player of the year but hey ho). Agger..well he's one of the best ball playing central defenders there is. He's just been mighty unlucky with injuries over the last 3 years or so.

There are reasons and excuses aplenty if you look for them mate but I cant really argue with your overall assessment. This does however stem back further than appointing Dalglish or even the utterly woeful Hodgson (I find it amusing that fans of other teams give us stick for wanting him out). The rot set in under Rafa, when the two thieving cowboys started asset stripping the club, player by player.

I could go on and on BUT thats old ground well trodden. Dont want AVB, that would be a massive mistake. We need a strong manager who wont take any shit from the players, who is also a proven winner, end of story.

Anyone who thinks that Liverpool will be challenging for the title in the next year or two though had better wake up and accept that ONCE again we are building from scratch.
