I like Jack White in The Raconteurs and solo, never liked White Stripes at all.
He's a very good guitarist and as was stated earlier a great lyricist. Whether you like him or not, it's surely plain to see he had a talent beyond appealing to hipsters !
Horses for courses though, I can't stand some of the stuff that gets raved about on here !
