I was at a soundcheck for a Cinderella show back in '98 and was subject to Mr. Kiefer doing a vocal check on the lead vocal mike. I will never forget how horrendous his shrieking was WITHOUT music to soothe the caterwalling.
"HUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH".

Tom has written some cool songs, and I love 'Long Cold Winter, but his singing/shrieking gets on my nerves. So does Axl and Brian Johnson's voice (after 1985). Hasn't anyone told Brian that he only has one vocal cord left and it's burnt to a bloody crisp? Apparently not.
