Kris,
Black is not like Stilletto. It is definitely more modern sounding. There are a few cool songs on the disc like Loverman (a nice ballad), Killin' Kind (co-written by Taylor Rhodes-who also wrote songs for Aerosmith and Kix), and Where Will I Find my Heart Tonight (another nice slow one). Some of the rockers are a bit too grungy for me. Overall, the album didn't have the charm of Dangerous Curves, Stilletto, or even Lita. I would check out the sound bytes on cdnow.com before buying if I were you. I've been a long-time Lita fan and this one sort of disappointed me.
Hope that helps,
Robert
