Hi guys,

Tempest actually had two albums out, I believe. I've never heard the first one and I can't remember the title, but I am positive that I read about it in a few places back in the '80s. The 2nd album, "In the Eye of the Storm" is worth hearing, IMO. Critics hated it, and I remember reading several scathing reviews of it. That's why I was so surprised when I went to the Christian book and music store back in those days, gave it a listen, and enjoyed it. I'm not saying that it's a classic release or anything, and there's certainly some filler on it, but it's also got its fair share of good tracks, IMO. Anyways, Rob, I've heard the Jeff Keith/Tesla comparison made a number of times, and it's a good/fair one. What's interesting is that on the Tempest album, Jamie's voice is considerably less raspy, and sounds at times like A LOT like Jon Bon Jovi's. If you're interested in hearing this album (which, I believe, is very rare), email me and I'll send you a tape.
Don
