Maybe they are indeed co-writing with other folks, and have the backing of Howard Benson, etc. But if they are still falling short of their full potential (what I think of as 'full potential', anyway), they should probably try new partners or the guidance of new producers/songwriters.

The issue isn't that the band itself doesn't quite write world class songs - I don't know if the band handles all writing duties or not....it's just that they need better songs. Unlike most other melodicrock bands, these guys have the potential to become Gotthard/Harem Scarem level players if they could only release a real monster record.

Then again, they won't be because both Gotthard & Harem Scarem didn't depend on outside writers, but there are artists who can be very successful with the right help.
