1 x 2TB and 2 x 500GB

I have ripped a lot of my CD collection to those external drives in a lossless format, so that takes up a lot of room. It really all depends on what you want to use it for. A mate of mine thought there was no way he would ever need more than 500GB of external storage, but he's always taking full HD family video footage and soon used up a lot of that space.
