For decades the music industry sold overpriced CDs, now that this source of income is drying up, they rob the fans with overpriced ticket prices. They day will come when people either can't afford them or simply can't be arsed anymore. I know these bands have to make a living without the income from records, but it's just not a very good long term strategy. I think the fans are a lot more loyal to an artist if they feel less like a cashcow and more like somebody who's business is appreciated. Wasn't it Sammy who only charged like $20 for his solos shows?
